Membership

The number of members of the Club for European Understanding and Communication is restricted as per statutes to 99 individuals. When this number is reached, there will be no further admission of new members until it is down to 98.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen above the age of 28 who have shown an ongoing active interest in European political, cultural, or social affairs as well as the readiness to shoulder responsibility for the world they live in, are eligible.
Membership will not be granted based on application alone. A potential new member needs two members in good standing guaranteeing for the applicant. The board of the Club has the right to reject any application without having to justify its decision. Membership can only be awarded by the General Assembly based on a secret ballot with no more than two rejections.
Only natural persons can and will admitted; corporate membership of any kind is not allowed.
